Onshore Construction Supervisor
Construction Coordinator Onshore 1 Reporting line The Onshore Construction Coordinator will report directly to the Construction Manager. The Offshore Construction Teams will report directly to the Onshore Construction Coordinator. 2 Role The Onshore Construction Coordinator is designated to deliver work as delegated by the Construction Manager. 3 Key responsibilities This role will be required to: � Coordination and delivery of all construction tools, hires and equipment. � Day to day support to Offshore Construction Teams � Adherence to the Change Management process (site queries). � To ensure that all onshore work preparation and documentation is in place prior to construction start. � To arrange all shipping and transportation to appropriate sites. � To contribute to safe and effective site execution of all construction and commissioning activities. � To assist the Construction Manager in ensuring that the build sequence, workpacks and jobcards are defined and available to all parties involved in the construction process. � To assist the Construction Manager in ensuring that the commissioning sequence, commissioning procedures are defined and available to all parties involved in the commissioning process. � To be able to deputise for the Offshore Construction Supervisor as required. � To Chair the construction readiness review in terms of manning, materials, equipment, tools and documentation. � To interface with Lead Engineers to ensure that all necessary design constructability checks and reviews have been carried out. � To Chair the offshore daily conference calls ensuring that the reporting is conducted in an accurate manner and distributed to the Project Managers. � To ensure that mechanical completion is achieved and documented. � To ensure that pre-commissioning and commissioning is carried out safely, effectively and thoroughly documented and approved. � To ensure that mobilisations and de-mobilisations are carried out, communicated and implemented in accordance with agreed construction plans. � To participate in punchlist management ensuring that all punchlist items are addressed. � To expedite the appropriate �red line� mark-ups for maintainable documentation. � To expedite the post-construction documentation to ensure it is available for close-out. � To expedite the Client acceptance and handover documentation from offshore on completion. � To provide technical, ethical, professional leadership, support and mentoring to colleagues. � To respect colleagues, clients and subcontractors at all levels, dealing with any dispute or conflict in a professional and personable manner. � Any other reasonable duties as specified by Line Manager. 4 Limits of authority Full responsibility for all operational activities within the philosophies and constraints laid out in the job description. There may also be a requirement to visit and work at other company locations.
