Associate Translation Coordinator
Role & Responsibility • Work pro-actively as a member of a team within Late Phase Outcomes Research (LPOR). Take responsibility for assisting in language services supporting global clinical and outcomes research initiatives. These language services may include any combination of the following: clinical document translation/back translation, audio transcription, voice-recording, multi-lingual desktop publishing and linguistic validation of patient-reported outcome (PRO) questionnaires. . Undertake project work to a high standard and in a timely manner. Liaise with clients and with other departments within LPOR. Additional responsibilities include: • Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centers around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance. • As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs. • Travel (approximately 0%) domestic and/or international. • Take responsibility for co-ordinating own workload and embrace teamwork approach in an LPOR department • Contribute to building business links within LPOR and with ICON Clinical Research • Co-ordinate projects and assignments to ensure timely and high quality deliverables • Contribute to marketing activities as appropriate • Establish and maintain client relationships • Contribute to building business links within LPOR and with ICON Clinical Research • Demonstrate and actively promote an open and honest working environment to encourage close teamwork and foster knowledge transfer • Such other duties and tasks as are allocated to you at the reasonable discretion of the Company Experience & Qualification: • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
