Core Responsibilities: The Data Warehouse Architect Lead will assist with the creation and maintenance of entire information systems and individual data architectural components to meet the users evolving needs. *Leads Development and Release of DWH solution across organization. *Reviews and approve all design and architectural proposals. *Works with architecture team and functional project managers to carry out successful project implementations *Serves as primary Liaison between Business and IT on DWH development issues *Leads all aspects of the SDLC which includes gathering of requirements, business and technical assessments, complex back and front-end designs, implementations, testing, data validation, training and deployment. *Stays abreast in BI and DW field for new techniques and functionality as they pertain to solutions. Required Skills: • Expert Data Modeling and ERWIN skills; Data Warehouse Architecture and Industry best practice methodologies • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in Healthcare, specifically Enrollment, Provider and Claims subject areas • Expert Data Warehouse Architecture experience and Informatica 8 or above ETL Architecture experience and skills •Ability to drive technical review sessions, business requirements and prioritization. •Strong verbal and written communication skills. •Strong critical thinking skills and project management skills. • 7+ years' experience with Data Architecture, Informatica Architecture, Workflow Architecture • 7+ years' experience developing medium to large complexity Data Warehouse solutions • 5+ years ETL and Data Warehouse Best Practice Methodologies • 5+ years Advanced RDBMS Data Modeling Experience for Data Warehousing • 5+ years Strong Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Strategy experience • Strong background and passion for data quality and data governance • Solid understanding of both transactional and relational databases • Experience working with Healthcare data is a must • Experienced in Erwin or similar data modeling tool • Experience with database tuning and performance.
