As a Professional Services Engineer, you will become a product expert in the products, providing expert consulting services directly to our customers that include world-leading financial services, retail, telecommunications and mobile carriers and leading Internet media organizations. Responsibilities: • Maintain up-to-date technical expertise with our products, including best practices around development, installation, configuration, tuning and optimizing, and runtime management • Manage professional relationships with customer technical staff and understand their technical path, providing guidance and acting as advocate for The Company's technology • Successfully deliver Consulting and Professional services, involved in hands-on programming, analysis, debugging, communication, and technical issue resolution • Coordinate activities between internal groups & partners. Requirements: • Deep knowledge of Java programming language - at least 3+ years experience. • Experience with application and middleware concepts, architectures and deployments. Distributed Java systems and familiarity with associated protocols and specifications (e.g. JEE, messaging, caching, in-memory data grids). • Excellent English oral and written communication & presenting skills. • Passionate about technology, with no hesitation to roll up your sleeves to dive into code or learn a new technology, and understanding of current trends (Cloud Computing, Big Data, Caching / In Memory Data Grids, NoSQL, etc.) • Strong written and oral communications sills • Flexible to travel frequently Desired Skills and Experience: Knowledge in the following: o Spring framework, networking protocols, object/relational databases, web and caching solutions, application servers, monitoring and messaging systems. o Unix/Windows and virtualized environments o Broad understanding of concurrent, distributed programming and systems and related technologies, including open source o Knowledge of .Net • Previous experience in consulting or professional services role • Be a contributor, a team player and with great personal relations and leadership skills.
