COGNOS 10 DEVELOPER Ryan Consulting Group, Inc, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is looking for a COGNOS 10 Developer to fill a position it has in Macon, Georgia. The job responsibilities and duties are as follows: Responsibilities: ·         Development & maintenance of COGNOS reporting, querying and analysis solutions ·         Collect & analyze information requirements from users, translate those into effective solutions ·         Develop, maintain & manage COGNOS Cubes, Transformer Models, Framework Manager Models and Reports ·         Support & advise PM on proper database reporting requirements ·         Conduct data investigations and support business users with complex data analysis and ad-hoc queries ·         Monitor queries and report behavior to ensure performance expectations are met ·         Working knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory Qualifications: Requires 5+ years experience with the following COGNOS Business Intelligence tools: ·         Expert knowledge and use of COGNOS 8.4 & 10 tools suite including Report Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer, Query Studio, Analysis Studio ·         Business Objects XI /9/7, Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, Central Management Console, Universe Designer ·         SQL Server Reporting Services ·         Database and ETL experience includes Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g; SQL Server 2005/2008; Netezza, DB2; SQL Server Integration Services;  DataStage ·         Proficient use and knowledge of  SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL ·         Proficient in source code management and use of Subversion and  Clear Case ·         COGNOS BI Administrator experience is preferred Education: ·         Bachelor’s degree required in IT-related field or degree in unrelated field and work experience acceptable Clearance: ·         Background Investigation required
