As the Associate Technical Producer / Developer in New York, New York your responsibilities will include: * Act as a liaison for the creative content team and the IT technical team * Develop the technical specifications for the site * Plan and review the navigational user interface design * Plan and review site architecture for new web site products and features * Code and publish production files to the web site * Troubleshoot, test and oversees the launch of new products The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * At least 1 to 3 years of work experience, preferably with a consumer-oriented company developing highly-scalable products * At least 1 to 3 years of hands-on development experience in a professional environment, working with a structured programming language such as C/C++, JavaScript, ASP, JSP, PHP, etc. * Knowledge of ActionScript and/or HTML5, Canvas Animation, etc. is a plus * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming fundamentals and multi-tier web architectures * Moderate level understanding of benefits and constraints of current Internet technologies and HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX * Experience working with third party social network APIs, ad network integration, or analytics systems * Strong communication skills * Ability to deploy microsites as a solo producer * Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment * Experience with TEA Development is a plus
