Sr. Assortment Planning Analyst
Kforce is seeking someone for a Sr. Analyst - Assortment Planning role. As Sr. Analyst, this individual will provide subject matter expertise and analytical support to category decisions made by the Merchandising Organization. The Sr. Analyst of Assortment Planning partners with the Merchandising Organization primarily during Business Reviews and Product Line Reviews. Time is spent defining the goals and objectives of the category review. Conduct standard and ad hoc analyses to identify key drivers of performance. Recommend assortment decisions that will improve category performance and develop financial plans that reflect category changes. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance the analysis, business partner integration, execution, and tracking of Business Reviews, PLRs, and other strategic initiatives. This Kforce position is located with an Atlanta, Georgia client. Specific Functions: Create Business Reviews / PLRs Determine, develop, and refine strategic processes to enhance Business Reviews / PLRs Determine when process change is needed and develop solutions Manage strategic assortment initiatives that cross departmental boundaries Communicate to all levels of management Preferred Qualifications: An MBA Merchandise planning, key item planning, and or retail buying experience Retail financial analysis and presentation skills Experience with retail method of accounting Experience with Marketmax Assortment Planning software, Microsoft Access, and advanced spreadsheet analytics Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Excellent analytical skills Excellent communication skills Must be able to create partners with all levels of the organization Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple demands
