BIAS Corporation, an Oracle Platinum Partner, has an immediate need for several Oracle APEX Developers in St. Louis, MO! The desired candidate must have expert knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and substantial experience participating in the development of large cross-platform applications. The focus will be generating code within the specified timelines and quickly correcting PL/SQL errors. The candidate will be expected to participate in a full functional project team to meet the tight deadlines with the use of Unit Testing and code reviews to ensure that the interfaces are held to specifications. Required Key Skills: - 8+ years PL/SQL development experience - 3+ years experience with programming web based applications with Oracle APEX - Experience working from specifications and holding to a solid change process - Experience in coding unit testing for software components - Experience in code review processes and enforcement - Understanding how to translate business rules to well defined and documented development artifacts - IT experience working in large complex private or public sector organizations Required Skills & Abilities: - Expert development experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX, mod_plsql, HTMLDB, etc. - Understands data models (packages, functions and stored procedures) - Unit testing skills - Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills - Good documentation skills - Demonstrated initiative in delivery of well structured and documented code - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Attention to detail - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
