Electrical Engineer (mid-level)
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: Prepares detailed design of projects in compliance with governing codes, regulatory requirements and Client standards. Develop definition and detailed electrical specification and construction packages for petrochemical process and heavy-industrial facilities. Develop front-end documentation, including project execution plans, estimates, and schedules Procurement specifications, documentation, data sheets, and bid tabulations. Ability to perform calculations of fault currents, electrical demand load, voltage drop, conduit and feeder sizing, heat trace sizing. Complete electrical documentation, including single lines, area classification development, plan drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Design checking and quality control Completes independent studies, analyses, interpretations and conclusions. Gives technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Requirements Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in the industrial and petrochemical industry Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong computer skills - Microsoft Applications Experienced in project scoping, estimating, and detailed electrical design Must be familiar with the latest edition of the National Electrical Code Applicant capable of some travel and remote site assignments
