Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Human Machine Interface applications High level of knowledge and experience with PLC programming (Including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Elau etc.) Maintenance and update of documetation for the above systems (diagrams, panel drawings and manuals) Management of logic controllers, software and backups Excellent computer and software skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Access,Powerpoint) Experience with CAD is a plus System administration of the automation control system hardware, network and software Provide timely resolution and troubleshooting of technical issues related to instrumentation and automation control systems Generate detailed work orders, Technical Change Controls and Installation/Operational Qualifications Master-Electrician level industrial electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability Promote safe work practices and teamwork Support area OEE initiatives for continous improvements Support engineering projects, validations activities and commissioning Ability to read and troubleshoot programming logic & make changes if required Accountability: Communicate findings verbally and in writing, and create mitigating actions to ensure reliability of equipment. Assist department leadership resolutions to resolving technical issues. Ensure adherence to applicable policies and procedures Must be able to work both independently and as a team member Handle multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously, and work with minimal to no supervision. Complete actions assigned during Daily Accountability meeting. Complexity: Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement projects, and create business solutions independently. Must be able to monitor, repair, troubleshoot and create solutions to manufacturing/packaging system failures and provide technical support to Technical Line Leaders/Production Technicians Basic Requirements: Minimum Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus 5+ years experience in automation manufacturing environment Demonstrated history of successful management of process flow and programmable logic control systems Experience working in an automation manufacturing environment Experience with management of logic controllers, software, backups and supplies including vendor relations, parts inventory requests and sourcing, and interdepartmental consultation Ability to analyze and correct deficiencies in the operation of high speed packaging equipment Strong problem solving and reasoning skills. Demonstrated ability to respond with troubleshooting methods under time and delivery pressure. Demonstrated ability to maintain control in stressful situations, and perform well under pressure. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. . .
