Enterprise Information Architect
Senior Enterprise Information Architect Location: Glen Burnie, MD Duration: 12+ Months Define a long term strategy, to avoid outgrowing an IT solution. Create high level enterprise architecture plan Define how IT will meet the client's current and future business needs. Document a holistic enterprise architecture that allows for efficacious decision making about which future IT projects the client will pursue and the technology or products to use in the implementation. Provide a framework for ensuring that business processes, information flows, system automation, and technical infrastructure are aligned to support the client's mission and strategic goals, and that scarce IT resources are best allocated according to strategic priorities. Enhance capability to: manage increasing workload, enhance workforce planning, support web-based expectations, meet compliance requirements, improve inter-agency data sharing, and permit easier integration across the enterprise by using interoperable and standards-based technologies. Enterprise architecture tasks will include: assessing EAP artifact needs and ensuring timely completion of defined artifacts, architecture planning activities such as defining the baseline and target environments, impact assessments, application planning and analysis, and migration planning. Minimum Qualification Requirement The Contractor resources shall all have CMMI Level 3 Practitioner or related process improvement training and experience. The Contractor resources shall all have experience with at least two (2) projects of EAP were in scope, within the past ten (10) years, participating as a key team member on enterprise projects meeting CMMI Level 3 standards or higher. The Contractor resources shall all have, at a minimum, five (5) years of experience, within the past ten (10) years, participating as a key team member on enterprise or large-scale IT system implementation projects, following waterfall and iterative/Agile methods. The Contractor resources shall all have, at a minimum, five (5) years of experience, within the past ten (10) years, researching, evaluating, recommending, and implementing solutions and tools necessary for successfully planning, managing, and controlling large- scale, enterprise projects.
