Customer Service Support (Manufacture Industry)
Volt Workforce Solutions is working together with a North County Manufacturer to fill/identify an experienced Customer Service rep to support their Sales department; troubleshooting with customers and sales people. This position requires a manufacture background. Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company. Making sure all requirements are met by the customer. Good customer interaction via phone and e-mail. Answering phones, wiring orders, imputing and tracking orders. Working with vendors for cost as well as with the manager. Provide product information and availability, order status, shipment tracking, and answer general questions as necessary. Handle customer order change requests, price discrepancies, and credit card payments. Enter purchase orders submitted via e-mail, EDI, phone, and fax. Document any customer claims including shipping errors, invoicing errors and lost shipments. Process customer credit requests for order entry, shipping, billing and customer errors. Maintain and update Customer Service filing systems. Volt is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements: Four plus years of customer service experience from a manufacturer. A degree is a must. Engineering background is a plus. Computer skills with MS Office is required. Having experience with 'ShopTech E2' is a plus. Estimating skills are a plus for pricing. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills and exceptional interpersonal skills. Extremely organized and attentive to details. Must have a thorough understanding of quality and service oriented. Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Customer Service and Order Processing in a manufacturing environment. Experience doing order entry in an ERP / MRP system.
