Quality Engineering Technician </ b> A small to medium sized medical device company in Central Peninsula (San Francisco bay area) is looking for a Quality Engineering Technician to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire position and an excellent way to get your foot in the door with a growing company with an exciting pipeline. Quality Engineering Technician Responsibilities: </ b> Quality Engineering Support Maintaining equipment calibration and preventative maintenance systems Ensure all equipment files (~700-800 pieces) are appropriately completed Coordinate equipment calibration and preventative maintenance services Calibrate in-house temperature measurement devices Monitor and document temperature loggers (refrigerated storage temperatures, oven temperatures and Soxhlet cycles). Support NCMR and CAPA dispositions and perform QC check Quality Systems Support Perform thorough DHR review including check on MFP of received parts lot numbers, procedure training, equipment calibration Backup for receiving inspection and labeling of incoming material Backup for various in-process and final inspections Quality Engineering Technician Qualifications:</ b> Bachelor's degree in a Science discipline Minimum 3-7+ years experience in QA in the medical device industry, experience with class III/ PMA devices a plus Experience with equipment calibration and maintenance strongly preferred
