Real Pharma is currently looking for a SAS Technical Lead Programmer to come on board for a long-term contract role.The project is based in the Cambridge area. The successful candidate will be heading up a team of 2/5 SAS programmers, reporting to the Director of Biometrics. Compensation for this position is dependant on experience but competitive with market rates, and interviews will be happening next week and the week after. Programming includes, but is not limited to, the data manipulation, summation, formatting and reporting of operational data. Will NOT be generating data for tables, listings, graphs. Programmer will run existing SAS programs on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. Programmer will create new SAS programs and modify existing code as needed. Requirements They are looking for a candidate with: - Extensive experience of SAS programming within clinical trials. Working under critical FDA, EMEA timescales. - Experience of leading / managing a team of up to 4/5 people. For example chairing departmental meetings, setting programme timelines, setting deadlines - MA / PHD Desired Skills: strong knowledge of SAS software and ability to write SAS code in clean, understandable manner with experience working with large datasets. Ability to document business requirements and code. Ability meets tight timelines and quality standards. Ability to communicate and interact well with peers.
