MIS Administrator
Our client is an established college in Central London who is looking for an MIS Administrator join their team. Overall purpose of the job and key results areas This is a role within the colleges MIS and Audit Department and is primarily responsible for inputting and checking of learner and enrolment information being entered on to the college Learner Management System. This will involve close liaison with the Head of MIS and MIS/Audit Manager as well as communicating with internal and external learning providers to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the information being provided. Accuracy, thoroughness and being able to work under pressure is essential to the role as the information provided and inputting has a direct relation to the eligibility of the learner to undertake a college course attracting funding from the government and the amount of funding the college would receive for the learning provided to the student. The department also provides information and guidance on the learners and learning being undertaken through the college providing performance and management information in order for the college to effectively plan and organise resource and curriculum throughout the year. The college maintains high standards of customer service both internally and externally across all areas and we aim to provide a professional service to all staff at The college. It is a key requirement of this role that all communication is dealt with effectively, efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner at all times. All aspects of The college services are subject to on-going evaluation and improvement through a range of methods including feedback from learners, clients, visitors and staff. You will be expected to work towards the continuous improvement of all feedback and results of the service delivery in this area. Most learners on programme receive all or at least some of the funding for their course through the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) or Education Funding Agency (EFA) and a range of other funding bodies. As such, the department is required to maintain meticulous records and tracking system and comply with the comprehensive internal audit controls and relevant external guidance. As a team member, you will be required to maintain systems and assist with any audit requirements and/or preparation of audits and inspections, internally and externally. Due to the nature of the role the following Skills and Attributes are desired, however all applications will be considered. � Ability to learn and be knowledgeable of college specialist software quickly � Strong IT skills. � Self-motivated. � Previous experience of working with and / or creating databases. � Excellent communication, written and numerical skills � Ability to deal professionally with a wide range of people. � Very strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy � Able to handle multiple tasks at any one time � Able to work independently or as part of a team � The ability to be assertive and to respond promptly to problems. � Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, ability to work under pressure and to deadlines including dealing with difficult and stressful situations. � Good organisational skills.
