i-Net Innovation Broker (Biomedical)
The role of the iNet Broker is to support High Growth businesses who could benefit from the services of the Biomedical Innovation Network. The Biomedical iNet is an ERDF funded programme providing 12 hours of specialist support to highly innovative SME's. This position will be home based, working within a team that covers the South West area of England. You will be responsible for establishing strong contacts with SME's within the region, diagnosing their needs and brokering them to the services of the iNet and other Business Support Programmes, agencies and organisations. To succeed in this role, you will need to have significant knowledge and experience of the sector, together with commercial acumen and professional business credibility. A background of working with smaller businesses and empathy for the entrepreneurial culture is important. The iNets Project is delivered jointly by Peninsula Enterprise and WSX Enterprise across the South West Region. The successful applicant will be employed by Peninsula Enterprise.
