Human Resources Administrator (Personnel, HR) BLUH4366 Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire Salary Up to �20,863 per annum Our client is a not-for-profit organisation providing quality homes across eight local authority areas in counties of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Their housing stock is made up of over 8,000 homes. Many of these were brought from North Hertfordshire District Council in 2003 and they have invested �220 million in a continual improvements programme to make sure they meet the government's Decent Home Standard. They have also built many affordable homes designed for today's lifestyles. There are around 800 new homes for rent or shared ownership in their development programme, including contemporary sheltered accommodation for independent people over 55 years. They have a substantial neighbourhood presence and strong relationship with their local partners. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Human Resources Administrator to cover maternity leave. As Human Resources Administrator, you will work as part of a small team and be responsible for delivering a high quality generalist HR service encompassing recruitment, absence management and the implementation of HR policies and procedures. You must also ensure the timely and accurate completion of all documentation and maintenance of an accurate personnel database. CPP qualified and with a strong customer focus, the successful candidate will have proven experience within a generalist HR role and will have been involved in; recruitment and retention, equal opportunities, performance management and absence management. With a good working knowledge of computerised HR / Payroll systems, you will be computer literate and more specifically, proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
