Application Support - Program Lead
Job Description: As an Oracle EBS Technical Architect collaborate with Corporate Technical Architecture team and Vendor technical leads to ensure successful development and integration of Oracle EBS R12 across multiple Legacy Systems. Specifically: Guide technical team to deliver scalable solution and ensure compliance of standards by internal and external developers. Provide mentorship and supervise developers. Perform hands-on technical design and development tasks as required in support of the System development and enhancements. Drive continuous improvements that results in operational efficiencies and also drive scalability initiatives in an effort to make the systems and processes more reliable, predictable and efficient. Collaborate with the Business Users, BSA (Business Systems Analysts) and the offshore development teams to manage and support day to day operations. Responsible for quality assurance and code review of programs developed by other developers in the team Collaborate with business analysts and other technical leads to ensure successful integration of Oracle EBS R12 across multiple system platforms. Drive major patch releases and code changes to the production environment including managing and coordination of the Regression and User acceptance testing with the users. Additional Skills: Minimum requirements for position: 10-12 years of Software development experience, with major background in Oracle Applications (11i). Strong technical skills in the Oracle developer tool set (Forms, Reports, SQL, PL/SQL and Workflows). Overall strong technical background and project management skills are required. 2-3 years of EBS R12 experience, with major background in Finance & Accounting related areas. 5 years experience: People/Functional Mgt principles including: Planning and organizing team work, Organizing and monitoring work assigned, Motivating and aligning team members around shared vision, Ensuring right skills aligned w/right positions on your team. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills. 5 years experience: Relationship Management including: Building strong relationships between teams, Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills, Demonstrating strong negotiation and prioritization skills, Demonstrating strong communication skills Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science SKILLS Project Management of Contractors, Supplier Management, Advanced Communication Skills, Leadership Skills, Oracle Financials, Oracle Forms Synectics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
