Cash Office Clerk- 32.5 hours (Maternity Cover) Working for an extremely successful local company you will be part of a very busy and lively team of 8 people who work in a high volume processing environment. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for opening and sorting incoming post and for the signing, opening and logging of incoming recorded/registered post. You will also be balancing payments received on a daily basis, loading payments on to the in-house system and resolving cash office queries. This role is high volume data entry and requires a candidate who is happy to work in this type of environment and has skills that reflect the nature of this position. The successful candidate will possess previous work experience, ideally within a finance/figures based or administration role or experience within a payments office would be useful, excellent keyboard skills, a positive and flexible attitude, good numeracy skills and good organisational skills. You will also be a good problem solver, be a strong team player and be able to liaise at all levels. Working Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm with ½ lunch – a total of 32.5 hours. Benefits include free parking and 25 days holiday pro rata per year. The position is to start in August and will involve a training/hand over period and then will be expected to be for between 6 - 9 months therefore flexibility is required to cover the full duration of the maternity cover.
