Polar Melting - short animated film
I wrote a short story probably 35 years ago that I've always wanted to turn into an animated short film (probably about 20-25 minutes play time). I have a pretty clear vision, need to re-write the script for sure. But I have no idea what it should cost, and really on top of animation, I'd need the sound done. My ideal scenario is probably to find a graduate student who has 2-3 months to do nothing but work on this with the end result being a finished, polished short that can go to festivals. (Obviously, these contributions would be credited.) While not technically complex in a special effects kind of way, there are non-human characters like , as an example, trees that need to be humanized and brought to life or animals that speak and sing. The story is an epic journey and has scenes around the globe in many climates and cultures and environments. So, let me know your thoughts. Is this doable and what time frame/cost makes sense? I know there's sound and then there's Sound - provide a realistic range for that as well. If this is at all intriguing, send me a link to relevant work you've done, a bio/cv and references. I am a finance guy that lives in Dubai - so I don't much care where you are. I'd imagine we'd skype regularly and set payments against specific project milestones. Regards - yogi Keywords: Animation
