A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Operations department of a large, blue-chip manufacturing business. Reporting to the Head of Finance for Operations, you will be responsible for operational financial control, Financial and management reporting of key performance metrics, day to day management of the distribution unit, forecasting and budgeting, and in-depth analysis relating to the supply operations units. This will involve presenting add-value information to senior finance and non-finance managers. This is considered a highly influential role in the business as you will take the finance lead for Hull Distribution and Procurement projects, drive process improvements internally and externally with customers, and motivate and lead a number of direct reports. Candidates will ideally be qualified accountants from a global business (preferably manufacturing related), have an excellent track record in their career to date, possess a strong leadership style, have a passion for performance improvement, and the ability to influence major transformational projects. Whilst initially recruited on a 12 month contract, there is a strong likelihood of future permanent opportunities should you wish.
