Job Title: RF Electrical/Power Electronics Engineer Location: Houston, TX Type: Long Term Contract Industry: Oil and Gas Duration: 12-24 Months   Job Description:   As an RF Electrical/Electronics Technical Professional you would be required to design, develop and test electrical and/or electronics hardware and/or firmware for downhole tools and surface systems. This may include analog and digital circuitry, power transmission and distribution, signal and communication systems. You diagnose instruments and electrical and/or electronic systems problems. Trouble shooting, repair-replacement and instrumentation maintenance are key task-oriented issues that must be addressed. We would be looking for someone with experience and knowledge in power electronics, specifically in transmitter design for high power pulse > 10kW and high voltage > 1000V in RF frequencies (>250 kHz). A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of two years related experience are required for the position. Certification as a licensed/chartered professional is preferred.
