We are looking for an au pair / au pair plus (driver a must) to come and live with us anytime from mid-August this year to help look after our two very lovely (& lively!) sons aged 6 and 7. They are at school in the local primary school and whose favourite things are the Wii and Lego. We are a relaxed and friendly family who have lots of other family who live in the area as well. Both myself and my husband work (my husband in the village) and me from home 1 day a week. We live one hour from London in a beautiful village called Hever. There is a train station, castle and two pubs within the village and good local town less than two minutes away with a sports centre, shops and libraries. Our au pair would be responsible for getting the boys dressed and to have breakfast before they take them to school in the morning (we provide a car for use during the week), making sure their room and bathroom are clean and tidy and that they are looked after and have everything ready for school. They are responsible for picking them up from school or activity in the afternoon and looking after them and getting ready for bed in the evening. There is roughly 25hours worth of childcare and an additional 8 hours of housework (washing,general vacuuming and tidying). In return, we pay £90 per week pocket money, provide use of a car (for most of the time) and a welcoming big room with DVD/TV/ Wireless Internet access in a lovely part of the world. There are many other au pairs living in the village and so all of our au pairs have had a good social life when they have stayed with us.
