Policy Development Manager
A leading public sector organisation based in London is currently looking to recruit an experienced Policy Development Manager for a 6-9 month fixed term interim post, to spearhead the implementation of an environmental scheme. The post holder will lead on specific areas of the development and delivery of key policy matters pertaining to the implementation of a new scheme centred around renewable energy. The role will include liaising with stakeholders both internally and externally, drafting and reviewing both existing and new policy legislation, and overseeing the communication of changes both to internal governance and external processes. Candidates must have a strong track record of providing strong project and change management, with some experience in communications desirable. They must be proactive, with an ability to provide strong stakeholder engagement across a wide range of organisations. Excellent written and verbal communication is a must, as is experience of involvement with policy. Previous experience of working within an energy or environmental sector is highly desirable.
