Main Tasks / Duties: * The employee takes care that all relevant CAD engineering activities are fulfilled according to the programmes requirements and in line with the corporate and department direction. * During audits and assessments from customers and external companies the employee supports the activities to reach an "A" classification regarding fulfilling DIN ISO 9000ff, VDA, QS9000 and TS 16949. * Conducts CAD engineering vehicle package studies and analyses * Documents the package issues in an issues tracker and tracks the progress * Organizes a package reviews to get package issues resolutions. Logs the progress in meeting minutes * Makes design studies and Proposals * Analyses the Commodities Data for collisions and package issues. Logs the progress in Meeting minutes * Prepares the WERS Release Data * Makes PPM Audits prior WERS submission * Manages the CAD Package release through WERS * Supports the Design, Clay, Manufacturing, etc. reviews Knowledge and skills: * Technical engineer with experience * Several years experience in CAD Engineering in the Automotive field * CAD Knowledge: C3PNG/Catia V5, C3PClassic/IDEAS, TCe and TDM * Able for Teamwork and Knowledge of CAD environments * EDP knowledge (Microsoft office etc.) To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
