Shared Services Production Manager: Job Description: Looking for a highly motivated individual to work closely with risk managers, technology teams & management to provide production support for market and credit risk applications. Activities include Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Deployments, application & database analysis, hosting calls with technology partners and learning all aspects of the application(s) they are given. Candidate should have good problem solving skills, able to think independently & must be able to identify problems or tasks and describe them effectively to other stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience: Min 5 years in an application support or development within a similar environment. Hands-on experience in supporting client applications, writing SQL, solving problems and interacting with various business and technology stakeholders, preferably in the risk space or financial sector. Good Knowledge of supporting a heterogeneous environment with in-house solutions based in ASP .NET technologies.. Database Experience with MS SQL Server 2005 or better. Other than Microsoft skills mentioned, knowledge of Java, Oracle & shell scripting desired. Experience or ability to write documentation / wikis in Sharepoint, Confluence or similar tool and follow basic formatting guidelines. Willing to learn and enforce bank production management procedures and protocols. Education / Knowledge in Object Oriented Design is a plus. Very good communication skills required. Able to perform independent research on technology or business information to excel in role.
