Our client -- a leading global professional services firm -- is looking for an experienced Enterprise / IT Solution Architect with 10+ years of relevant experience to play a key role on a project in the San Francisco Bay Area in the Utility / Energy Sector. The "right" candidate will have 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architecture in a leadership role and be able to deliver standards-compliant project solution architectures that meet the functional requirements of the business. This is 6-12+ month consulting project with the potential to extend or go long-term. More detail will be provided to qualified candidates. Skills and Requirements •10+ years of experience in Information Technology including 5+ years in leadership role in Enterprise Architecture function. •Understand Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g. TOGAF EA framework). •Ability to create, maintain and enhance solution blueprint template •Good understanding of architecture framework and ability to implement a framework through solution blueprint •Prior knowledge of EA toolsets, ability to model enterprise capabilities and functions, business processes and technology interdependency using an EA tool •Comfortable with J2EE, .Net, and various other legacy technologies •Prior knowledge of databases, infrastructure, security and data warehouse and BI technologies •Prior experience in Utility industry is a big plus but not required •Good understanding of enterprise architecture concepts around best practices, standards, and industry trends including service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business process management (BPM). •Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or other science.
