Our client is looking for a QA tester for their Access Control team. This person will provide test and support for planned roadmap development such as Access Control Server/Client and associated hardware projects, as well as field support. They will support the full product family offered by our client with includes the CCURE 800 and CCURE 9000 products. The engineer will be part of an established QA test team responsible for various Software, Hardware and Firmware projects. Will develop test plans and execute to those plans. Will use various Black Box /White Box test techniques to identify defects and assist in finding root cause. Validate product quality prior to release. Job Responsibility 10% Review product functional specification and design requirements, plan test approach 10% Develop high level and detailed Test Procedures 10% Configure test environments and create data sets appropriate to qualify products 50% Test the actual product, performing regression of test cases as product matures 10% Identify Root cause of defects, working with development engineers 10% Utilize DFSS to improve product quality throughout product development cycle This position will require strong SQL skills, ODBC, General Database queries. Replication of data from other databases. BS or MS in an Engineering discipline with +5 years in the software/systems industry.
