We need a tool written in c++ (Visual Studio 2010 c++ based for it needs to be integrated with an existing solution (no .net). The tool needs to allow the admin to: _ lock all hardware installation under windows _ detect unauthorized attempts to install new hardware need to send alert message over tcp/ip socket to monitoring server _ allow specified hardware installation by DeviceID by some Device identification detail (like MAC for network Cards) by some device class or group (like all video cards) _ unlock all hardware installation This tool will need to work for all windows and can require administrative privileges.
