If you are interested in learning more, please send your resume to cleahy@tsrconsulting.com A high-energy Consultant for a large-scale implementation of a system designed to facilitate the authoring, review and approval of regulatory documents. As part of the project testing team, responsibilities include authoring, reviewing and executing system and UAT test scripts. Once the testing phase is complete, the candidate will be responsible for issue tracking, troubleshooting and updating the user community (a diverse number of groups – including but not limited to: Global Dossier and Document Management; Regulatory Science; Clinical R&D, etc.) of alternative solutions and resolutions to issues that are logged with the help desk. Application Support (Main Role): Provides technical support for one or more scientific applications. Understand the issue, schedule for resolution, work with relevant teams for fixing, test and resolve the issue meeting the set SLAs for resolution. Communicate efficiently with supporting teams in order to address the issues. Work with cross functional teams, multiple projects, production issues Participates in ongoing analysis, design, deployment, validation, implementation, integration, support, and administration for one or more scientific applications Knowledge or experience with Microsoft core technologies, networking, databases, and thin client technologies required Manages users, groups, roles, projects, instruments and/or hardware associated with one or more scientific apps Functional business process knowledge (for functional area of application set) strongly preferred Leads efforts in analysis, design, deployment, validation, implementation, integration, support and administration for one or more scientific applications Defines, plans and implements the goals and milestones associated with one or more scientific application implementation or upgrade projects. II. QA Tester (Secondary Role): Participate in system test activities with the business and development teams. Work closely with Project Team to ensure features/products achieve desired level of quality (Influence the inclusion of testability during design and development phases). Review business requirements and design specifications to identify gaps and ensure documented business requirements are clear, consistent and testable. Develop and execute test cases and scripts as well as report test results following defined standards and processes. Accountable for timeliness and quality delivery of all assigned technical deliverables. Additional Skills: Strong understanding of Document Rendering and related technologies (ie Adobe Acrobat, CoreDossier Generators, LES, etc.) Manual system testing Strong SQL and analytical skills Understanding of Web Services, WS testing Understanding and worked with Mercury-HPQC
