TEKsystems is in search of a SQL Server DBA for an immediate need at our direct client. This contract to hire opportunity in the Philadelphia, PA region. The following are the core duties/responsibilities of this position; * Take ownership of data assets in production, staging and development by applying best practices for database management. * Participate in the design, development and implementation of database requirements for in-house developed enterprise applications. * Applies subject matter expertise and leadership regarding all aspects of information storage and management, including security, availability, integrity and recoverability. * Respond to production support incidents involving issues with databases. * Deliver short-notice ad-hoc report requests on a weekly basis.
