Well known and respected client seeks C/C++ Java Software Engineer The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties related to development, operations and maintenance of software used at a ground based electro-optic observatory. The software engineer will primarily be involved in defining requirements and developing code that processes data from electro-optic sensors ~ Experience in C/C++, standard Template Library, Microsoft Visual Studio, Java, .Net, Framework, Linux and Windows. ~ Sound knowledge of modern software engineering practices. ~ Degrees higher than BS is desirable ~ Candidate must be willing to relocate to Socorro NM area and travel 60 to 120 miles a day observatory sites Preferred skills: MVS.
