Rooms Magazine is an independent magazine featuring contemporary art and culture, by introducing innovative editorial and design. Rooms Magazine is published quarterly by RAU Studio London, and distributed in UK and internationally ( ). RAU Studio London is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Freelance Media Sales Professional to take charge of the advertising for Rooms Magazine, print copy and website, and develop key relationships with advertising agencies, PR companies and brands directly, selling to both large and small clients A basic rate, plus excellent uncapped commission is offered for the right person who will be home-based, energetic and willing to work as a team. Hours are flexible but would be in the region of 10-12 a week to start with, to assess suitability on both sides with a view to the position growing into full time (in terms of income if not hours). The job may require access to London, so proximity to the capital is preferred, although not essential. The successful applicant can expect to reap rewards of the business success both in the short and long term, and therefore needs to be committed to taking on a genuine opportunity. Other skills necessary: - An excellent professional telephone manner and an ethical approach to doing business. - Existing relationships with advertisers or the skills to build them quickly. - Knowledge on sales trends. - Confident to work independently and ability to plan and prioritise multiple objectives.
