Electrical Engineer- Manufacturing
Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join our client on-site in Boise, Idaho. To apply, please respond to this posting with your resume. This position is responsible for partnering with various departments and engineers on the design, development, testing and implementation of electrical engineering projects. This position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques, as well as CAD skills. Responsibilities include: •Executes the analysis, design, test and integration for products to meet the business standards and customer requirements. •Coordinate and execute automated testing; this includes identifying, implementing and maintaining appropriate testing systems. •Partner with design engineering to analyze and ensure design solutions and costs are achievable. •Interface with multiple internal departments including engineering, manufacturing, and project management. •Execute assigned projects using strategic decision making and sound engineering principles and procedures while adhering to business standards and customer requirements. •Actively participates on project teams. Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer Requirements: •Bachelors in Engineering or related field, EE preferred, with at least 5 years progressive engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Must have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and concepts. •Experience identifying, implementing and maintaining automated testing equipment. •Thorough understanding of electrical engineering for propulsion systems, power distribution systems, rotating electric machines, auxiliary power systems and control systems. •Experience working with CAD is required and UG/NX is preferred. •Knowledge on design for cost. •Knowledge of IEEE code requirements preferred. •Ability to lead projects with various departments through enhanced production using DFMA skills. •Must possess strong analytical capability along with problem-solving skills. Must have the ability to build successful working relationships with multiple working groups. Strong communications skills are required.
