Software Test Engineer WIM, WinPE, Windows OS, Hyper-V, SQL, Basic Server Management MAC OSX 2-3 Volt Technical Resources has a long-term position available in Redmond for a Software Test Engineer to perform manual tests/investigations and tasks on the various devices. Duties/Responsibilities: The Software Test Engineer: Is responsible for writing test plans for a small project and/or a medium to large feature set. Reviews test specifications, cases and automation written by others for coverage and completeness. Is responsible for improving test quality and effectiveness by working with Development and Program Management to prevent problems as well as to make the product more testable. Is accountable to the Manager. Works with a variety of devices, ranging from DataCenter Servers to handheld devices and embedded systems. Will be writing workflow tasks in order to perform tests and automate processes. This is an estimated 6-month Contingent/Temporary position in Redmond, WA and offered through Volt Technical Resources, which is located in Redmond, WA.
