DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  •Design, implement and evaluate quality assurance processes and sampling techniques, including ownership of our COPQ system •Support/develop methods for measuring and inspecting critical process control parameters. •Work with all departments to implement process improvements, increase process yields and reduce COPQ •Work with Quality Manager/Failure analysis team on product returns, performing statistical analysis of return data and leading/participating on corrective/preventative action teams •Work with supply chain to improve quality of vendor supplied material through development/enhancement of inspection plans. •Conduct training on Quality Assurance concepts, tools and methodologies as required •Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
