Bilingual Communications Coordinator (Localization)

Description of Duties: -Coordinates communications between NOA Product Development, NCL, and second-party developers -Performs confidential written and verbal translations in Japanese and English -Provides administrative support to Localization Manager and other Product Development staff/management -Performs confidential written and verbal Japanese and English translations, including translating written and verbal communications between NOA, NCL, and second-party developers -Attends meeting with and participates in conference calls between Product Development, NCL, and Japanese second-party developers -Assists with overall Localization process -Prepares and transmits correspondence -Prepares and distributes reports -Coordinates meetings -Maintains department schedules -Assists with voice recordings by coordinating contracts, sending expense notifications, processing invoices, and keeping up-to-date files on all projects -Acts as liaison with other departments -Assists with software evaluations as needed -Maintains and updates department files, documents, and reports -Coordinates travel arrangements and processes expense reports -Prepares purchase requisitions, action memos, and other related documents -Distributes mail and faxes -Orders department supplies -Coordinates and works on special projects and follows-up on open issues as needed -Up to 10-15% travel, overtime and schedule fluctuations Summary of Requirements: -Five years of related experience -Excellent Japanese and English translation skills, both verbal and written, required -Ability to work with highly confidential and/or sensitive materials and information -Excellent PC skills, including both word processing skills and spreadsheet skills in both Japanese and English -Knowledge of video game industry desirable -Undergraduate degree in Communications, a related field, professional training in Translation/Interpretation, or equivalent experience ** Applications and resumes will only be accepted through Nintendo's website, www.nintendo.com/corp/jobs.jsp, as we no longer accept paper, faxed, or emailed resumes.
