Responsible for all levels of MIS to deploy and support the infrastructure and application stack. This will require coordination with multiple technical parties including IT application development, systems, network, and security administrators. This position will help triage and coordinate troubleshooting of application issues in development and production and will identify opportunities to improve availability, reliability, and performance of application infrastructure This position will also be responsible to provide technical leadership within a team and on project teams, document work and follow corporate, department, and work center policies. Ideal Candidates will have the following: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related curriculum and/or 5+ years experience in a technical role supporting n-Tier app infrastructure is required. Strong UNIX administration skills are required. Experience in administering SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Oracle Solaris, and/or IBM AIX is also required. Veritas clustering & volume management preferred. Applicable certifications and/or professional training are preferred. ITIL Foundations Certification and fundamental knowledge of Internet fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, HTTP) preferred.
