Our client, located in Lewisville, Texas, is seeking a Network Architect to serve as the highest level of technical expert in network planning and telecommunications. Main Duties: Be responsible for designing voice and data network solutions Be responsible for developing network standards / policies / procedures Work with resources from other technical groups to implement network design changes Determine new methods and develops new procedures for accomplishing work Provide work direction and assign tasks to lower-level employees Work is at the highest level and requires an evaluation of all known methods, company practices, and goals. This Architect will identify or create solutions that are likely to contribute to the development of new company concepts. Interface with all levels of management to negotiate project priorities and outcomes Competencies: A BS Degree with 8+ years of experience or the equivalent Expert knowledge of network systems Knowledge of emerging technologies Knowledge of our client's company's business requirements and standards Know the customer's business and seek information about the real underlying needs of customers, beyond those initially expressed and not obvious to others Match those needs to available products and/or services to meet the needs Negotiate to resolve customer issues by seeking win-win solutions that add value to the customer Develop unique strategies to promote the effectiveness of the group Ensure that all members of the team and those with whom they interact build relationships and trust to achieve business objectives Be able to effectively relate his/her technical expertise to varying organizational needs Knows when and how the technical content can be legitimately tailored to fit different departments and customer needs Efficiently apply topical knowledge and expertise to make significant solutions for customer groups and the entire business Recognize the value of a multi-industry perspective and apply best practices to create innovative solutions Determine process and priorities based on the requirements of a situation
