RESPONSIBILITIES As a UI/UX Designer you will be deeply involved in the product development process from start to finish and have a creative impact and voice in the design of our products. UI/UX Designers work with the Product Manager to design and implement UI features that drive the visual identity of our products. UI/UX Designers will also create in-product artwork and placeholder artwork as needed by developers and engineering. You may also work with business intelligence and marketing teams to create UI tests to support and refine our products. QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years UI experience with complex web apps or games experience • Excellent graphic design skills: sketching/wireframing/storyboarding abilities on paper/screen • Strong understanding of the effective use of color and composition • Communicate visually, and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions • Understanding of web and interactive design fundamentals • Ability to create art assets (especially icons) matching existing art styles - A Design Chameleon • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash CS3/CS4, and other relevant art tools • Passion for kids technology, games, virtual worlds, and social networking • Portfolio must illustrate strong UI skills, and graphic design skills and available for review • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS/AJAX Preferred Qualifications • Animation and 3D experience • Experience developing Flash games from conception to completion (Shipped Titles a Plus!) • Avid user of games on social networks (Facebook / MySpace) Keywords: Software Development
