Our Hillsboro client has roughly 30 technician positions open. They range from positions within the Lab to Computer and Hardware Support positions. Some of there positions are looking for people with networking experience. Others need scripting skills for testing. If you have computer software or hardware technician experience -  we would like to talk to you.  An example of one of our open positions is below: *** Rockstar Lab Technician Needed: Years of Experience & Expertise Level: Mid-Sr- 3-5+ years Daily Responsibilities: . Assembling and initial testing of all hardware for test . Installing the BIOS and debugging any issues with BIOS team . Executing manual and automated test cases . Reporting found defects in bug database . Communicating with validation and software engineers . Debugging issues by actively seeking solutions . Maintaining lab inventory spreadsheet and lab organization Necessary Skills (Must Have): 1. Board assembly and test/debug 2. Systems Prep - HDD ISO/image GHOSTing, systems setup under Win7/Win8, registry manipulation, Win7/Win8 operative configuration, and applications installs and configuration. 3. BIOS install and debug 4. Failure Analysis - working with engineers to raise issues and root cause them. 5. Test Execution - following written test plans and communicating results. Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): 1. Software engineering - C, C++, C#, automation test scripting in PowerShell 2. Test plan editing - the ability to take our existing test plan and edit it as necessary to improve the validation
