In our learning centres, we provide one-to-one instruction for children and adults with a variety of learning difficulties. For more information, we invite you to visit our website at www.lindamoodbell.com . Our Sydney Learning Centre is looking for energetic, positive individuals to work as Tutors (Clinicians). We are currently recruiting for casual positions. Paid 7-10 day training in our specific programs is provided (with ongoing employment subject to successful completion of the training). Candidates must be available to work in private and public school holidays. The ideal candidates will have: - a passion for the education field and helping others; - be reliable, energetic and have an aptitude for positive interactions with clients; - ideally have a University degree; and - meet Lindamood-Bell’s requirements for written and oral language skills including language and reading comprehension. Responsibilities include: - provide one-to-one instruction based upon individual client’s learning needs; - review and maintain client files, including recording tasks and progress; - work with the Centre Director and Consultant to implement client plans; - assist the Office Manager and Centre Director with office duties, as directed; - attend staff meetings (if required); and - interact positively and professionally with client and staff to provide a safe and fun learning environment.
