Blue Wave Solutions is conducting a search for a Senior Java Developer for our direct client in the Los Angeles (LAX) area. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for Specification, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of near-real-time, software applications utilizing J2EE.The ideal candidate must have worked in a large scale J2EE environment. Qualifications: BS in Computer Science required. MS in Computer Science is desired 8+ years of experience designing, developing java based multithreaded, transactional and distributed applications. Experience with the Oracle SOA 11g suite comprised of Enterprise Service Bus, Web Services Manager, Service Registry, Fusion Middleware Adapters, Enterprise Manager, JDeveloper and Application Server Enterprise Edition, database. Experience with REST, Web services. Experience with canonical data model. Experience with writing application specification documents. Experience in working with offshore software development team. Experience in reviewing design documents and code. Experience in production support Experience in development in Linux/Unix platform. Partner with other team members, customers, and vendors throughout the entire project lifecycle. Strong problem solving and analytical skills required. Excellent written/verbal communication skills required. Good analytical skills, detail oriented, quick study, and self-motivated. Able to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to multitask within an environment of rapidly changing priorities. Proactively solve problems and be a team player.
