Technical Lead/ System Architect New Castle, DE Job Description: This position requires a highly motivated, focused individual with strong technical savvy and leadership skills. Candidate will be expected to efficiently and effectively develop and deliver application solutions. Candidates should be able to work independently, and have strong knowledge and experience in .NET software design and development, as well as database design, web based applications and systems integration. The candidate will coordinate directly with the project manager to oversee and guide a small technical team while contributing to the design, coding and testing of the project deliverables. The candidate must be capable of assessing level of effort and resource needs based on requirements documentation and will work closely with members of the Development, QA, and Application Support teams throughout the requirements, design, implementation, testing and deployment phases of the project to create high quality solutions. They should have experience with, and be comfortable troubleshooting and resolving time sensitive issues in a fast paced production environment while maintaining strong cohesive relationships and a calm professional demeanor. Required Experience: B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience Strong technical skills in .Net and SQL Server 7 plus years of application development experience SQL Server architecture and design knowledge Access and SQL database development and migration experience Experience with architecture conceptual/physical design and systems integration Knowledge of or experience working with mainframe systems (NATURAL, ADABAS) Web application front-end presentation layer integration knowledge Knowledge Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) Experience scoping level of effort and resource requirements for development projects Experience writing design documentation and technical approach summaries Experience with quality assurance, user acceptance testing and deployment Effective oral and written communication skills.
