Kforce is seeking an Instructional Designer for a Pasadena, California client. Position Description: * Develop training materials according to process, quality, budget, and milestone standards * Identify and raise issues / risks to ensure project success * Provide input to Instructional Designer / Developer Leads (IDDL) regarding process and continuous quality improvement Top 3-5 Responsibilities: * Help with the development of training materials * This person would do corrections and also add interesting visuals to participant guides * Make corrections / updates to instructor guides Additional Information: * We generally have three drafts with corrections, updates, and upgrades * This person would do corrections and also add interesting visuals to participant guides and make corrections / updates to instructor guides * The contractor would also create PowerPoint presentations to accompany course materials * Not primarily a Graphics Designer, but some elements of this work will be performed Experience Level: 3-6 years Skill Set: * Learning Training and Curriculum Design experience * Technical writing * Oral and written communication skills * Teamwork * Collaboration * Must have experience in Instructor-led training design Top 3-5 Required Skills: * Excellent knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint * Ability and willingness to follow existing conventions and standards * Make suggestions to upgrade graphics and visual appeal of PowerPoint presentations and MS Word * Ability to do light proofing and make corrections * Soft skills will include teamwork and collaboration with good oral communication Minimum educational requirement and additional information: *A High School Diploma or equivalent education * This contractor will work from home and work will not be daily; only as needed depending on the updates and/or changes needed
