Port iOS Game -> Android (source provided)
I have programmed an iOS game using Cocos2D / ObjectiveC. I need someone to port the game so that it runs on Android. I know Cocos2D-X exists, so I would imagine it would be easiest for someone to utilize that (if they didn't want to end up re-writing most of the game structure). That being said, of course I am open to whatever other technology you can interest me with. The game is 2D and involves galleries. Some necessary technology familiarities you will need in order to accomplish the task: Multi threading knowledge Network knowledge (how to get, and decode JSON specifically) OpenGL ES knowledge -- since there will be sprite manipulating Some basic animation knowledge Knowledge on how to play sound effects + audio simultaneously With regards to the animation, its all just sprite rotation, and sprite moving, and changing sprite opacity. The entire project is very close to 3000 lines of ObjectiveC code. This is including newlines and documentation / comments. You won't have to do any artwork of course, just porting. If you think you have the skills to turn this project around for me, post a reply and try and convince me. So that I know you actually read this project description, please have somewhere in the body of your reply state the name of the first planet in our solar system. Please also include how long you think it'll take you to convert the project. I am a developer myself (though overworked) so I'll be able to provide a considerable amount of support to you on this in terms of what I'm looking for, especially since I wrote the original project myself. I also have android programming experience -- just not much JNI experience on android. Anyhow, looking forward to working with you =). If I'm impressed with the results and/or turnaround timeframe, I will award bonuses accordingly. If selected as my coder, I may have you sign an NDA before getting started so keep that in mind too please.
