Project Manager (Mfg/Distribution)
We are seeking Project Manager with Manufacturing/Distribution experience for a 3 month contract position in Tennessee. Skills : College degree – BA/BS in relevant field: Business, Engineering, Healthcare. Six Sigma Black Belt certification desirable, PMP desirable At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment with 5-7 years experience in project management and PMO environment. MicroSoft Business Suite: Windows, Excel, Word, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint; MiniTab, Igrafx Excellent leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results. Strong working knowledge of Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology tools and process management. Ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization. Strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills. Local candidates to TN only. Healthcare industry experience a plus. Responsibilities : • Position provides a single point of contact for projects from original concept through final implementation. • Oversees/coordinates all aspects of each assigned project and serves as liaison between clients, line managers, and internal and external resources. • Defines project scope and objectives, plans and directs schedules and budgets. • Monitors each assigned project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer as needed. • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables. • Provides project management guidance to project team • Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems. • Applies best practices methodology and enforces project standards. • Ensure that projects are monitored for continuous improvement • Develops and leads cross-functional project teams. • Works to foster a customer-centric quality culture. • Supports new PMO development and documentation of processes, tools, and templates • Supports ongoing operation of Specialty Distribution PMO • Runs multiple projects Interested candidates should send a copy of their resume including salary/rate information to: email@example.com or apply online at : http://www.synergyamerica.com/apply.php?apply=491 Company Profile: Synergy America, Inc is a 16-year-old Professional Services staffing firm providing contract, contract-to-hire and direct-hire resources to companies looking for key individuals.
