Position Description: The Data Analyst will be working with Our Client, who is a global leader in the semiconductor industry. The project is focused upon redesigning Data Warehouse Database structures and Business Intelligence reports developed using MicroStrategy software. The purpose of this project is to decrease throughput time of Data Migrating from source applications (e.g. SAP) through to the reporting layer of the Data Warehouse. Data Analyst Duties/Responsibilities: Analyze and redesign Data Warehouse database structures and business views. Daily activities will include: Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling Data Analysis and problem-solving Documenting Metadata and business transformations into specifications for Developers Writing Validation Scripts to ensure data quality and integrity Display an understanding of Business Requirements, and document Data Transformation for Programming by ETL Developers. This is an estimated 6-month PLUS contingent/temporary position in Chandler, AZ, and offered through Volt Technical Resources, which is located in Scottsdale, AZ.
