BI Developer With Experience in a BI Application/Reporting Support Role SQL 2008 (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) Skills Database Design and Development Background Volt Technical Resources has a temporary opportunity available for a BI Developer with Our Client in Redmond. Our Client's Outsourcing Tools and Reporting team is responsible for developing financial and process tracking applications using the latest technologies to manage all aspects of Global Outsourcing. One of the most valuable deliverables to Our Client's business partners is their rich reporting. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relational reporting as well as OLAP and Data Warehousing BI solutions for the team. This includes production and troubleshooting of monthly spend reporting, as well as feature development and functional testing. The Developer should demonstrate working experiences in building scalable OLAP-based BI solutions using MS ActionScript 2005/2008 which entails OLAP schema implementation, expertise with ETL Design and Development including SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers and other advanced SQL features. The Developer should also have experience in multiple reporting presentation solutions, including Excel and SSRS. She/he is also expected to demonstrate excellent Performance Analysis skills on both Relational and OLAP Databases, including techniques for analyzing OLAP and Relational Database applications, as well as: Identifying bottlenecks. Experience in understanding query plans and estimates. Additionally, the team has an Agile Development environment with short release cycles and dynamic business requirements. Strong communication, design and planning skills are necessary to scope and plan Development work in order to meet business objectives. The Developer will be responsible for all aspects of Product Feature Development, including architecture, design, development and quality. The position is made up of approximately 25% reporting operations, 40% reporting support and 35% BI reporting development. Responsibilities: Manage monthly reporting operations and delivery. Design and develop: ETL and Relational Staging Databases. Multi-dimensional Schemas. Reporting systems for internal and external partners. Troubleshoot issues with released reporting.
