Volt's Waterworks Supply client is looking for Quality Control Inspector with a manufacture background who will assist with the development and implementation of standards and procedures to satisfy company Quality Standards. Establish methods to monitor all material and manufacturing processes. Perform inspection and maintain records of Quality problems. Specific Responsibilities: Establish Standards required to support company policies. Develop procedures and other criteria required to inspect in process manufacturing. Inspect all material received from outside suppliers. May be required to interface with vendors or other functional departments to resolve problems. Maintain history records of Quality problems to identify and correct trends. Train in-house personnel to recognize acceptance criteria. Perform other special assignments as directed by immediate supervisor. All reworks & redo pieces, orders & paperwork. Create, maintain & review all paperwork procedures for quality control. Report to Plating Manager & Production Supervisor any paperwork discrepancies and daily problems with plating or finishing quality. Maintain QC-Standards for ALL finishes. Maintain clean work stations for QC Inspection in all finishing operations. Volt is an equal opportunity employer Requirements: Five plus years of Quality Control experience from a manufacturer. Education Experience and Requirements: High School Diploma required. Direct experience in Quality with 2 years hands on inspection experience. Must have PC expertise. Must be able to maintain accurate records. Must good written and verbal communication skills. Flexible schedule to work overtime, Saturday's and Bank Holidays. Computer skills to include typing, search capabilities on the internet and software experience for preventative maintenance.
